Post-It PopNotes is currently available as a free download app at iTunes for iPhone and iPad. Windows Phone and Android apps are on the waiting list. Look toward the top left side of the page for the blue "view in iTunes" button to download the free software.

Dropbox is definitely one of the most useful software programs around. We use it daily for work, sharing files, pictures and other documents. We sometimes forget to share this great free software, as we assume everyone is already using. it It has come to our attention, that outside of ourselves, and other geeky friends, a lot of people have never heard of this incredible free software. We find Dropbox fun and easy to use as well. You start off with 2 GB or free storage, but as you refer friends and family members, you get bonus space. Dropbox also allows you to purchase additional storage if you find yourself needing more space.

Amazon has just released Kindle for PC software which you can download for free. This lets you purchase and view Kindle-based books, magazines, and other readable-material right on your PC. You do not need to own a hand-held Kindle to get and use the PC version, but if you do own one, you can sync it with this version.

If you are a job seeker and are rusty on how to put together a modern resume, check out the link above. They have a ton of free sample resumes that you can reference to build your own. I remember a handbook I had at one time twenty years ago or so, and many of the sample resumes they offered in that book are no longer the correct way to do things, so I was glad to find this site to give some great resume examples.

At first I assumed this site was a scam (due to the subject matter and having seen many, many past examples of such), but having looked at some of the free sample business plans offered, these are actually a really good starting point if you are considering your own business. Not all the plans on the site are free, but many are available free. Read through a few to get a great idea of what a real business plan should look like.
