I've been meaning to do this post for some time, but have been very busy on so many things it got put off. There a hundreds and hundreds of other freebies sites out there, 95% of them are scams, and most of the rest can be stale, off-topic, or offer way too many limited-quantity or professional offers.

I'd like to mention two of my favorites:

Free Samples Direct: Alissa and the crew at FSD do a great job of keeping the site up to date, and the layout and presentation are second to none. They were kind enough to put up a whole post about us here at the FSF. If you feel overwhelmed by the volume of offers here on the FSF, Free Samples Direct's posts are perfectly paced and will link you to the best free offers on the net. They concentrate on the US freebie hunters, but also offer international freebies as well. Great job, and many thanks Alissa, Jessica, and Paula!

The Freebies Blog: This blog is the place to go for Aussie freebies. Many of the offers are Australia only. We occasionally post Aussie freebies when we find them, but The Freebies Blog keeps the Aussie Samples coming daily. Congrats on the strong Feedburner numbers, mates!

AdPerk has a new magazine available for free: Field & Stream. If you are new to AdPerk, you can earn free subscriptions to magazines by watching short commercial videos. There is a legit program, and we have already received Popular Science and Ode. The process can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to complete for your free magazines, so it is up to you if this magazine is worth the effort. There are no costs, obligations, or strings attached.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will send anyone a free Michigan state map.
