Live Earth 2007, a massive concert event taking place in locations around the world, occurs on Saturday, July 7. You can watch live streaming video at the link above. Plus, the NBC family of networks (including Bravo, CNBC, and Sundance) will air hours and hours of concerts throughout the day. This year's participants include Genesis, The Police, Linkin Park, Madonna, Duran Duran, Pharrel, Snoop Dog, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roger Waters, AFI, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Melissa Etheridge, James Blunt, Beastie Boys, Shakira, Rihanna, Joss Stone, Jack Johnson, and many others. This one isn't a typical freebie, but being a horse racing fan, I was very pleased to discover that I could watch Belmont Stakes races from 1930 - 2006 for free online, and the 2007 Belmont Stakes video should be available within minutes of it finishing.
