Home Depot continues to offer free Do-It-Herself Workshops to help you learn how to do all sorts of DIY and repair projects around your home. Sign up at the link above to take part in the next Workshop, the Sign Up button is down the page a bit, which will take place on Sept 24, 2009, on the subject of Kitchen Updates.

The May Do-It-Herself Workshop at your local Home Depot store is Yard and Garden Maintenance, where experts will show you how to:

Here are free samples of Idea Paint, a wall paint that can make any wall a dry-erase board. I actually rented a house many years ago that had something like this free sample paint on one wall and it was really cool. You could draw, write notes, etc and just wipe it away whenever you wished. Very cool free samples!

On Sunday, April 19, 2009, the Home Depot will be giving away free CFL bulbs at its stores. You can get one free bulb per person while supplies last. The link above includes a description of the light bulb giveaway as well as a Home Depot location finder.

Home Depot offers frequent free classes on various DIY projects in their Do-It-Herself Workshops series. Register for a free class at the link above and you will also get a $10 coupon.
